Grow, Learn, Thrive: Grants for School Gardens
Blue Zones Project Yuba Sutter is awarding three grants to K-12 public or charter schools in Yuba Sutter for the 2024-2025 school year. These grants support new or existing edible educational gardens at school sites, promoting the development and sustainability of these gardens. The initiative also aims to raise awareness of Blue Zones Power 9 Principles: Plant Slant, Purpose, Move Naturally, Belong, and Positive Pack.

Eligibility
- School garden must be an edible educational garden (growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, grains, etc.)
- School must be a K-12 public or charter school in the Yuba Sutter (zip codes:95991,95993.95901 or 95961)
- School must be an existing Blue Zones Project Approved School or working towards the approval process to be completed in the 2024-2025 School Year.
